Online teaching and learning have been a challenge for everyone, however, the capacity to adapt to the new circumstances is up to each individual which forms part of the academic section of the school. In this case, I chose the learner profile "balanced" since I believe that this piece of evidence represents what a balanced work looks like. Online teaching is hard, but now imagine, teaching a new language through a screen, looks like a bigger challenge right? Therefore, finding a balance between educating, entertaining, and maintaining the students focused is key to successfully teach online. In the process of creating this piece of evidence, I faced some challenges which include a lack of communication. The project consisted of creating a creative video in partners and in this case, Camou and I decided to make a fashion tutorial to show the perfect look for summer. Since we could only communicate through our phones, the division of work and editing the video was hard yet we were able to adapt. Another challenge is related to speaking French as we're not fluent speakers, we made some silly mistakes in regards to the adequate use of vocabulary, verb conjugations, and pronunciation. Lastly, after re-watching the final video, I was impressed since I realized my level of French has improved a lot, and now, I'm grateful for all the hard work that was done during these last years of school.
