For my Tok Essay, I decided to write about bias and its role in the pursuit of knowledge. I chose this task as my one and only Tok evidence since it shows the abilities I developed during the two-year course, starting with how to analyze, interpret, relate Tok concepts to the main topic, while also, justifying each piece of evidence with real-life examples. I chose the profile of "Inquirer" since it refers to a person who seeks to learn something new, and during the process of creating this evidence, I was an inquirer. I went through a long journey of investigation, followed by analysis and reflection. When I look back, I remember I felt a sense of satisfaction with my work since I was able to follow the structure and rubric, without the need of putting excessive effort into it. Lastly, I strongly believe that this evidence and the Tok course, in general, will strongly help me in the future, where I will use the tools acquired to solve working and social related problems. Also, my writing skills improved, since I was able to learn about the use a formal vocabulary, with expressions, etc.
